Sebastian Horsley RIP

Since his crucifixion I had quite forgotten who he was, his life seems to have been his great Art work with an impeccably timed departure, a week in to a run of a show at Soho theatre based on his memoirs, from a heroin overdose.
Some quotes, on the play, 'Who is playing me? Well it won't be me. I would be completely miscast for the role, darling. Nobody can be exactly like me, even I have trouble doing it.'

'I have been trying for some time to develop a lifestyle that doesn't require my presence, I seem to have finally succeeded.'

When burglars robbed his house and took all but his paintings he applauded thier good taste.

'Mother didnt breast feed me. She said she liked me as a friend.'

When asked abut traffcking women in relationship to prositution 'Oh, I wouldn go along with that. I may be a canibal but I still say grace...We're all prostitutes. Who are we to tell someone what parts they can and cannot sell of themselves?'

'If I had known I was going to live this long I wouldn't have taken such care of myself.'

'I have decided  to stop living on account of the cost.'
