Doherty

One of the pleasures of relanding is music. Drug addicts almost always have the telly on. In my psychedelic youth music always took prescedence and accompanied those creative mind expanding drugs. In those days I never had a tv, just played music. This week has found me exploring so much music; this has been beautiful. Most musicians, unlike artists have a four or five year creative period then the muse seems to go. God only knows how this has happened but peter doherty wrote those first two libertines plus five more that were never properly recorded to more than demo stage before his first Babyshambles album which was quite weak. It can be argued even the two libertines albums were demo quality. What followed in his public life left me thinking he was done. However his best stuff is now coming out only now.
