The Hunger for Subterrania

The hunger to find out what is going underground is a logical step for all who have followed the blog from the start. We began by illegally climbing industrial architecture, starting with Moortown Water Tower followed by Bath gas silos. This investigationn in to that which goes unnoticed and the escalations led to the man hole covers study. When I realised that there were other Drainspotters out there studying the mid line, the ground, it became apparent that the extent of underground stuff was massive, largely abandoned by rail and quarry companies, air raid shelters from world war 2 and cold war nuclear bunkers. I have no head for heights as I learned when we fitted out the Tank Museum. We are going down.
