Sadly Tex is getting older. This hampers my activities yet ball endeavour has magnificence. I was out 6.30 sunday with him shooting 2 pigeons, first I got straight through the head, second fell in to river and I spent time geting him in. We ate a lovely pigeon breast tagliatelli in a white sauce.
Today was a real treat. Saw ared kite fly over our land, there are no reintroduction schemes here so a natural occurance. It amazes me that buzzard, peregrine, kestrel, sparrowhawk, all diurnal raptors can share this space
