Two women have been arested on suspicion of trying to smuggle the body of a dead relative on to an easy jet flight to Gemany yesterday.
Sat in his wheelchair wearing sunglasses, 91 year old Curt Willi Jarant was 'asleep', sad his widow and stepdaughter. Security at Liverpools John Lennon airport got suspicious. Travelling with 2 children the widow and crew were detained on suspicion of trying to avoid the cost and beaurocracy of repatriating Curt. Airport staff checked his condition and were shocked to find no murmur of a pulse.
The widow and stpdaughter plead innocence and point to the fact 8 people saw him moving. Perhaps i was when his head slumped on to a co passengers head and no yanking from the family could reanimate him gave the game away.
Mind you, I often feel, whilst stood in supermarket queues behind incontinent coffin dodgers that the authorities should intervene.
