The folly of design

The new I pad is a wonderful tool but in recent years I have found that design, well style at least is taking on a trivial feel for me. As one gets older appearance be comes less important. Being attractive to the opposite sex becomes less important. Appearance of objects too diminishes in significant. All ones theories on the nature of material culture fades. Surface and facade, artifice all become insignificant to content. Where once I saw Ron arad as a wizard of matter I now see an overgrown teenager in a silly hat.
