Fly tipping is a central artform of edgelands. Furniture, white goods, garden cuttings, stacks of undelivered junk mail, broken toys (see toyist postings), boxes, crates, bags all have equal presence.
The discarded thoughts and abandoned ideas rot together.
Every avenue of domestic enquiry provides detritus that can add to the mass. Forgotten hobbies, particularly sports related; broken exersize bikes, snapped golf clubs, deflated balls, broken swingball stems are most characteistic. New sports are forcefully evolved for christmas products, games that don't work, offshoots of tennis, squash, badminton, cricket that all show how the route games are the complete result of their evolutionary ladder. Any adjustments devolve yet provide substance for misguided tangled offerings to the edgelands.
Child rearing, with its swift obsolescence is another great provider of edge fodder. Prams, pushchairs, disposable nappies that just never breakdown or return to earth.
