David Haye loses

I listened in to the world heavyweight unification fight between David Haye and Wladimir Klitshko. Haye fought bravely and gave the performance of his life. He lost all rounds to Klitsschkos greater reach, strength, power, skill and experience. I did not think Haye could make it past round 6 but Dr Klitshko is systematic and winning the sporting event was his objective. He had the measure of Haye throughout and was the clear victor. I do feel a saddness that reminds me of the gloom that overshadowed the sport until Tyson blasted through the fat systematic heavyweights of the day, reinvigorating what should be the greatest of sporting events, the heavyweight championship of the world, the hardest man on the planet. Before too long the reign of the Klitschkos will be over and I hope for an era like the days when boxing could genuinly be called an art. There will never be another Tyson, never be another Ali but a new champion will some day come to unify violence and art, lets hope this happens soon.
