Stickleback black walnut and lead crystal

a deeply carved top surface creating volcanoe shaped folicles that house over 50 lead crystal spikes up to a foot in length, a concealed lightbox underneath projects through the crystal spikes creating a fibre optic like effect. The piece was sadly vandalised by right wing christians opposed to the exhibition, its emains donated to a local school. Though originally intended to be a piece of furniture that had become affected by a beautiful disease it was interpreted as a frozen moment of machine gunfire relating to a fallen soldiers dieing outburst at his attackers.
