What Tex seeks to point out here is that liberal piety has overtaken freedom of expression. In the '60s to early 70s, the objective was to let people 'do as thou will' to mis quote Aleister Crowley. Freedom to be do what the fuck you want. The liberal left is now concerned with pious preaching. Political correctness. A list of things not to do regarding eating, drug taking, smoking, sexual habits etc. The total closing down of freedoms. The liberal left has become more conservative whilst the consrvative right has become more concerned with personal freedoms, albeit in a Clarckson sort of a way.
