An unexpected treat of the Skreeworld Box Tunnel mission was the discovery of this 2nd world war defence post. Hidden in a copse of trees it overlooks the tunnel entrance. Judging by the size of the gun holes it was fitted with anti aircraft guns. The rail supply route for munitions from Bristol would have been a sure target for German bombers.
