Wigan 28 Leeds 18

The cup final started looking like Wigan were going to walk it, soon 16 nil up. Leeds pushed the ball around and got the score back to 16 10 for half time with a brawl to see the players to the tunnel. Leeds continued to dominate though Wigan scored a try from a pass a clear yard forward then in the closing stages, a Wigan player touched the ball over the touch line and the lines man missed it. Wigan got head and feed. Wigan won and were great to watch though, but for two poor decisions it would have been Leeds. There are no 'what ifs' in Rugby League and the game was superb. Wigan must know, though they won, that Leeds could quite easily have won. I believe that Leeds have the better side, somewhere the communication has gone. Should we make it to the Grand Final, I would not bet against Leeds. This was the match I have enjoyed most whilst seeing my team lose in my life. Tomkins, the new RL superstar still has a long way to go to be a legend like Sinfield, Burrow, McGuire.
